Kharkiv Needs Windows. Winter Is Coming.

In a Telegram address to Kharkiv citizens on June 27, Mayor Ihor Terekhov made it clear:

“Kharkiv is a city without windows. Literally.”

Since the start of the full-scale war, over 220,000 windows have been shattered in Kharkiv alone. And Ukraine’s bitter cold season begins in just three months.

Holes are boarded up with OSB panels, blankets, or whatever people can find — again and again. Many buildings have been hit more than once. Local production can’t keep up — not even for Kharkiv, let alone all of Ukraine.

Our team has already installed over 48,000 emergency windows across frontline cities like Izyum, Nikopol, and Kherson — helping thousands of families survive, stay warm, and hold on to a sense of home.

Now, we’re preparing to scale up our work in Kharkiv, where the destruction is even greater — and the clock is ticking.

This is where you come in.

We need your support to help Kharkiv’s families survive the coming winter.
Every $20 helps install an emergency window — replacing broken glass with warmth, light, and safety.

Let’s join forces to bring protection, dignity, and heat back to Ukraine’s second-largest city — one window at a time.
