Emergency replacement windows
Our emergency windows
Insulate Ukraine has developed two transparent, insulating and shatter-resistant emergency window systems for homes, schools, hospitals and public buildings affected by war.
Two operating realities
Designed for different operating conditions
One solution cannot meet every humanitarian situation. The two systems share the same objective, but use different production, distribution and installation models.
Emergency Window
Team-installed response
Used where trained local teams can measure, produce and install each window building by building.
WindowKit
Distributed response
Used where direct distribution and installation by individuals, partners or Insulate Ukraine teams is the more practical model.

Team installed
Emergency Window V2
A locally produced emergency replacement window installed by trained local teams.
V2 is used where measurement, production and installation can be coordinated on the ground. Each window is produced for a specific opening and installed through an organised local project.
- Measured and produced for individual openings
- Installed by trained local teams
- Designed for organised installation projects

Designed for distribution
WindowKit
A distributable emergency replacement window designed for flexible installation.
WindowKit is used where distributing the system directly is the more practical response. It can be installed individually, by local partners or by Insulate Ukraine teams.
- Built for efficient distribution
- Designed for individual, partner or team installation
- Used where direct distribution is the better delivery model
