Mykolaivka civilian hospital

Frontline Zone

In the summer of 2024, shelling damaged the window structures of a music school in Mykolaivka. At that time, we restored the damaged windows using our older polyethylene constructions to bring back basic airtightness after the strikes.

Local authorities appreciated this solution.

Later, the Mykolaivka civilian hospital was relocated into this building.

This is not a military hospital.

It serves civilians.

Family doctors work there. People come for consultations, medical check-ups, IV treatments and basic care. It is a place where ordinary people receive help in very difficult conditions.

After some time, there were more strikes.

Parts of the building were damaged again — specifically the wing of the former music school that is now occupied by the hospital. The windows in that section were hit.

This time, we returned with new window constructions.

We did not restore the entire building — only the areas that were damaged. But it was exactly the wing used by the hospital, where medical services are provided to civilians every day.

Today, the hospital continues to function.

People still come there for care. Doctors continue their work.

However, the area has become even more dangerous.

This is now a frontline zone. Drones are flying overhead. It is no longer safe for us to travel there regularly, even though people still live there and the hospital remains open.

That is why every window restored there matters so much.

Because when access becomes limited, the work already done is what continues to protect people — doctors and patients alike.
