Insulate Ukraine looks back on an extraordinary first year
We made our first window on a cold Izyum morning back in January 2023. Since that day, we have installed over 18,000. This means that more than 2,000 buildings (public and private) have been made secure, shatterproof and warm, and more than 3,200 civilians have been brought back to their homes.
As the new year commences, Insulate Ukraine will be reflecting on the individuals that have helped make the organisation what it is today. There are currently four teams in Ukraine implementing windows in the war-torn areas. As work continues through the winter of 2024, Insulate Ukraine aims to expand their operations. This time next year it hopes to have brought 10,000 civilians back to their homes.
