Mel Giedroyc

Mel Giedroyc is a television presenter, writer and actress known for her work across British television, radio and theatre, including The Great British Bake Off and her long-running partnership with Sue Perkins.

Mel has used her public platform to support humanitarian work connected to Ukraine and to help audiences understand the human impact of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Her support for Insulate Ukraine has helped draw attention to a simple but urgent need: restoring safe, transparent and insulating windows to homes damaged by war.

Mel also hosted The Meaning of Home, an art auction supporting Insulate Ukraine. The event brought artists and supporters together around the idea of home and helped raise funds for emergency window installations across Ukraine.
