Justice, Recovery & Rebuilding Ukraine
An evening bringing together leaders from finance, humanitarian response, government, and civil society.
Hosted at the London Stock Exchange, the discussion brought together policymakers, financial leaders, human rights advocates, and organisations working directly with communities affected by the war.
Oleksandra Matviichuk, head of the Center for Civil Liberties and recipient of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize, spoke about the importance of justice in wartime and the urgent need to hold Russia accountable for war crimes committed since the full-scale invasion.
Tetyana Nesterchuk shared insight into the role of sanctions and international cooperation in supporting Ukraine’s long-term recovery. The conversation was moderated by George Littlejohn of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Together, the speakers focused not only on how Ukraine can win the war, but how it can secure a just and sustainable peace.
For Insulate Ukraine, the evening was also an opportunity to highlight the humanitarian reality faced by millions of Ukrainians living with damaged homes and shattered infrastructure, and the practical solutions helping communities remain in their homes while reconstruction continues.
Since 2022, Insulate Ukraine has developed and refined its emergency replacement window system through close collaboration with Ukrainian teams working in frontline communities, including Izium and Nikopol. The organisation continues to improve and scale these systems, helping families restore warmth, safety, and dignity while longer-term rebuilding remains ongoing.
The event also highlighted the importance of partnerships between civil society, business, and humanitarian organisations in supporting Ukraine during both wartime and long-term recovery.
