United Help Ukraine and Insulate Ukraine webinar announcement

On 25 September 2024, Insulate Ukraine joined United Help Ukraine for an online conversation about humanitarian work on the ground, the realities facing communities affected by the war, and the practical support still urgently needed.

United Help Ukraine President Maryna Baydyuk opened the webinar with an update on the organisation’s work supporting Ukrainians in the country and abroad.

Insulate Ukraine founder Harry Blakiston Houston then spoke about the organisation’s response to damaged homes and shattered windows in frontline communities, where families often remain while permanent reconstruction is still years away.

The discussion highlighted how locally led humanitarian action can restore warmth, safety, and dignity quickly. Insulate Ukraine’s emergency replacement windows are designed to be affordable, fast to install, and practical for homes repeatedly exposed to blast damage and severe winter conditions.

The webinar concluded with an open question-and-answer session, giving supporters an opportunity to learn more about both organisations, the challenges faced by teams working in Ukraine, and the importance of sustained international support.

We are grateful to United Help Ukraine for bringing our organisations together and for helping share the realities of frontline humanitarian work with a wider audience.

Partnerships like this help connect international support with practical, locally delivered solutions for people living through war.
