Ukrainian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate launches London advocacy tour and unveils Ukraine NGO Shortlist

The human rights lawyer and founder of the Center for Civil Liberties Oleksandra Matviichuk is set to embark on an advocacy tour of London next month in partnership with Insulate Ukraine, coinciding with her announcement of a Ukraine NGO Shortlist.

Oleksandra’s tour will include meeting the King, hosting a 90-minute press conference with Lord Charles Moore at the House of Lords, speaking at the Royal Society of Arts and partaking in discussions with prominent UK journalists at the London Stock Exchange and the Insitut Français London on June 13th.

Her talks will cast light on Russia’s war crimes, such as the abduction and ‘Russification’ of over 20,000 Ukrainian children, the harsh daily realities of citizens in occupied territories and how the West’s handling of Russian war crimes will set a precedent for accountability in conflicts around the globe.

To coincide with the advocacy tour, Oleksandra has announced a handpicked Ukrainian Shortlist: a curated funding pool supporting effective grassroots NGOs and charities assisting civilians on Ukraine’s frontlines. It highlights key areas of civilian aid, from evacuation and shelter to trauma care and rebuilding, reflecting Oleksandra’s commitment to addressing the human dimension of war. The list is reviewed quarterly to ensure the highest standards of impact, accountability, and integrity.

The Shortlist includes Insulate Ukraine.
