About Us

There are 367,000 shattered windows across Ukrainian frontline towns. During winter, temperatures plummet to -20°C or below. No other humanitarian crisis in the world is happening in such a cold environment; the winter cold is being used by Russia as a weapon. No family can live safely at home in these conditions.

Insulate Ukraine was established as a non-profit in December 2022 to answer this problem. A team of engineers at The University of Cambridge developed a triple-layer window, made from PVC piping and polyethylene. It is manufactured 100% locally to Ukraine and costs us less than $20 to build and install. Thanks to our donors, we install these windows free of charge for our recipients.

Insulate Ukraine is a locally led franchise charity with operations across the Ukrainian frontline. We support people by insulting their homes, we support local communities by insulating public buildings, and provide economic resilience by providing work for local civic heroes.
